Like all green leafy vegetables, spinach is rich in folate, essential during these nine months. So refuel and also vitamins with this recipe.

Ingredients:

For 6 persons

  • 400 g spinach
  • 2 carrots
  • 1 turnip
  • 1 onion
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 liter of vegetable broth
  • 15 cl of liquid cream
  • Salt and pepper from the mill
  • sesame seeds to serve

Preparation:

Wash the spinach, then dry them.

Peel carrots and turnip and cut into cubes.

Peel the onion, garlic and then slice them.

Heat the olive oil in a casserole or in a large pan.

Add the onion, garlic, diced carrots and turnip, then fry over low heat for 10 minutes.

Add the spinach, the broth and bring to a boil.

Reduce heat, cover and let simmer for another 10 minutes until vegetables are tender.

Mix with the cream.

Salt, pepper, taste and then adjust the seasoning.

Serve with sesame seeds.
