Temperature regulation does not yet work perfectly in the infant, any rise in the outside temperature can cause fever. So be careful not to leave a baby in an overheated atmosphere.
A child suffering from heat stroke becomes sleepy, depressed or otherwise agitated, irritable. The main risk is dehydration.
Discover your child, give him a drink, ideally an oral rehydration solution. Avoid bathing, which can be dangerous if your baby cools down. If he vomits and the fever persists, consult urgently.
